Web development
Bigger products, smaller team.
amillionmonkeys is a one-person, AI-native product studio. I design, build and ship ambitious web and app products end to end. Senior judgement decides what's worth building; AI does the typing.
What that actually means
The pace of a team. The judgement of one person who's done this for twenty years.
Directing AI to build production software means one person can now take on the scope that used to need a funded team. What hasn't changed is the part that matters: deciding what's worth building, and building it so it doesn't fall over.
That part is nearly 20 years in the making, including work for the BBC, Bupa and Airbnb. AI decides nothing. It just types faster than a team of people could.
You talk to the person doing the work, from the first call to launch day. I take on three builds at a time at most, so yours gets proper attention.
How we work
Shape, Build, Grow.
Three ways in. Prices are published because you shouldn't have to book a call to find out whether you can afford it.
Shape
You've got an idea, or a product that's stalled. You're not sure what to build first.
A few days working out what's actually worth building, what it'll take, and what it'll cost. You come away with a plan you could hand to anyone, including me.
£1,500–£2,500
2–4 days, fixed fee
Build
You know what you need. Now it has to exist, and work properly.
Your product, designed and built end to end in working milestones. The same senior person from the first call to launch day. No hand-offs, no junior learning on your budget.
£5,000–£40,000
Fixed fee, scoped in Shape
Grow
It's live. Now it needs to keep getting better without you hiring a team.
Ongoing time each month to fix, improve and extend what's there, from the person who built it and knows where everything is.
£1,000–£2,500/month
Build / Foundation
£5,000–£10,000
A focused first version, or one well-defined system
Build / Core
£10,000–£25,000
A full product with accounts, payments and an admin side
Build / Full
£25,000–£40,000
A large platform, or several connected systems
Build prices are ranges because every product is different. Shape ends with a fixed price for your Build, so you know the number before you commit.

Bupa Picture of Health
A global Paralympics campaign covered by every major UK broadcaster at launch — with AI checking every image before it went anywhere near Bupa's name.

Treatdeck
A vibe-coded Base44 prototype, rebuilt properly for production for less than a third of the cost of a ground-up build.

Is this for you?
Probably, if
- An ambitious idea or a stalled product, and a real budget to build it properly.
- You'd rather work directly with one senior person than a team with a project manager in between.
- You want it built fast because of AI, and decided well because of experience.
Probably not, if
- A small, well-defined task. A good freelancer will do it for less.
- A build so large it genuinely needs several people working in parallel.
- You need a big team on site as reassurance rather than as a practical requirement.

Book a 20-minute call. If it's a fit, the next step is Shape: a plan before a price. If it isn't, you'll get an honest “that's not for me” and a pointer to someone better suited.
