Mobile Apps.

Building two separate native apps is expensive. React Native lets us write one codebase that runs on both iOS and Android, which means you get to market faster and your budget goes further. The apps still feel native — your users won't know the difference.

Let's Talk

How we work

Our Process.

01

Discovery

We work out what the app needs to do and — just as importantly — what it doesn't. Mobile apps that try to do everything tend to do nothing well. We'll help you prioritise features and figure out what should ship in version one versus what can wait.

02

UX / UI Design

We design screens and flows that feel natural on both iOS and Android. Each platform has its own conventions — iOS users expect things to work differently from Android users — and we respect that. You'll see clickable prototypes before we write a line of code.

03

Development

We build with React Native, which means one codebase that runs on both platforms. You get to market faster and changes only need making once. The apps still feel native — your users won't know the difference.

04

Testing

We test on actual phones, not just simulators. Different screen sizes, different OS versions, dodgy Wi-Fi, low battery — all the conditions your users will actually encounter. We also test the app store submission requirements early, because getting rejected by Apple at the last minute is nobody's idea of fun.

05

App Store Launch

We handle the App Store and Google Play submissions — screenshots, descriptions, review guidelines, the lot. If Apple comes back with questions (they often do), we deal with it. Once you're live, we help you set up crash reporting and analytics so you can see how things are going.

Common questions

FAQ.

Why React Native instead of native development?

Cost and speed, mainly. Building two separate native apps (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android) means roughly double the development time and budget. React Native gives you one codebase that runs on both, with performance that's genuinely close to native. For most apps, the trade-off is well worth it.

Will my app feel like a "real" app?

Yes. React Native uses the same underlying UI components as native apps. Your users won't know or care how it was built — it'll feel like any other app on their phone. We also use platform-specific design patterns so it feels right on both iOS and Android.

How long does a mobile app take to build?

A simple app might take 8-12 weeks. Something more complex with user accounts, real-time features, and third-party integrations could be 3-6 months. We'll give you a proper timeline after the discovery phase rather than guessing upfront.

Do you handle the app store submissions?

Yes, we manage the whole process. Apple's review process in particular can be unpredictable — we know what they look for and how to avoid common rejection reasons. We also handle the ongoing updates and releases after launch.

Got an app idea?

We'll tell you honestly whether React Native is the right fit, what it'll roughly cost, and how long it'll take. No pressure, just a straightforward chat about your project.
