Wonder Foundation

The Challenge

The Wonder Foundation empowers women and girls through education and access to work. Amazing organisation, real impact, global reach. Their website? Not keeping up.

The old site didn't serve their ambition. Donation processes were clunky, impact stories were hard to find, and the whole thing felt several years behind an organisation that was moving forward fast.

Our Approach

Sarah Evans designed a site that matches the energy of the organisation—vibrant, confident, focused on human stories rather than corporate messaging.

WordPress handles the backend, with Tailwind CSS and Vue.js powering the frontend. The combination gives us proper CMS capability (the team can update content, add stories, manage campaigns) while enabling the smooth, modern interactions donors expect.

The donation process was critical. Every extra click, every moment of confusion, every slow page load costs donations. We stripped the process down to essentials: choose your gift, enter your details, confirm. Vue.js handles the form interactions, providing instant feedback and validation without jarring page reloads.

The Results

The new site does what the old one couldn't: convert visitors into donors and tell the Wonder Foundation's story effectively. Donation completion rates improved, the team can manage the site independently, and the organisation finally has a digital presence that matches their impact.

Some projects matter more than the technology involved. This was one of them.
